Public Health Experience: I graduated from medical school this year and we had a heavy emphasis on public health at my institution. I have experience teaching healthy eating and sex education to elementary and middle school-aged underrepresented minorities along with other public health volunteer work.
Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I went to UNC Charlotte for undergrad and was thrilled to hear about the combined Masters in Anthropology Public Health program as I have an interest in using integrative medicine to create equitable care.
More About Me: I like making candles in my spare time, I have a candle company J’s Smell Goods. I also enjoy foraging, swimming, and binging trash reality TV.
